UniCare Products
- FIT Plans: UniCare offers PPO programs with different deductible plans. These plans, called FITs, have a choice of $500-$5000 deductibles. FIT plans emphasize preventative care while allowing members to choose healthcare providers from within or outside of the network. Members pay 20% coinsurance for participating providers coinsurance and 50% for non-participating. Coverage includes office visits, inpatient and outpatient hospital services, and prescription drugs with a separate deductible.
- UniCare Saver 2000 Plan has a $2000 deductible and a 30% coinsurance for members on approved services. Like the FIT plans, members pay 50% coinsurance for non-participating medical providers. Services covered include preventative care, office visits, inpatient and outpatient hospital services, and prescription drugs with a separate deductible.
- Sound Health Insurance offers three choices in plans with deductibles at $1500, $3000, or $5000. Members have the choice of not paying anything for many services after the deductible is met when using network healthcare providers. For non-network providers members pay 50% for covered services. Prescription drugs have a small copayment after a separate deductible is met. Services covered include inpatient hospital services, preventative care, and durable medical equipment. Limited dental care is included in the package.

- HSA Plans: UniCare offers several high-deductible HSA plans. Members contribute to a special Health Savings Account from which they can pay approved medical bills with pre-tax dollars. This might save members money on their income taxes. The high deductibles in these plans are paired with lower premium rates.
- Consumer Choice PPOs: UniCare offers Consumer Choice PPOs with a choice of $1000, $2000, or $5000 deductibles and more limited coverage so that members do not have to pay premiums on services that they might not need. This enables members to save money and still get excellent healthcare coverage. Members pay 25% coinsurance on most covered services when using network providers.
