Assurant Health Products
- RightStart Plan offers a choice of $500, $1000, and $2500 deductibles for individuals. Members can choose to see network providers or non-network providers. Using network medical providers will increase members’ savings. Coinsurance choices for network providers are 50% or 75%. This is a low cost plan with access to quality healthcare providers.
- Value Plan offers a choice of $500, $1000, $2000, $3000, or $5000 deductible levels for individuals. Members can also choose coinsurance. With the 80% Plan, members pay 20% coinsurance to network medical providers and 40% coinsurance to non-network providers. The 50% Plan has a 50% copayment to network providers and a 70% copayment to non-network providers. Included in this plan is a prescription drug plan with a separate deductible.
- One Deductible Plan is a high deductible plan where there is only one deductible to meet. Members do not have to keep track of different deductibles to figure out “who in their family qualifies for what type of coverage.” This deductible also includes prescription drugs.

- PPO X-tra Plan has a choice of deductibles and coinsurances with a separate deductible for prescription drugs. This plan is designed to help members to control the costs of their premiums.
- Physician Hospital Plan gives members the most options of any of Assurant’s plans. This enables members to customize their plans to their needs. There is a choice of six levels of deductibles, from $500 to $10,000. There is also a choice of coinsurance:
- Members of the 100% Plan do not pay anything to network participants after the members meet their deductibles and 20% coinsurance to non-network participants.
- Members of the 80% Plan enjoy a 20% coinsurance to network participants and 40% coinsurance to non-network participants after meeting deductibles.
- Members of the 50% Plan pay a 50% coinsurance to network providers and 70% to non-network providers after premiums are met.
- HSA plans offer high deductibles paired with low premiums and the possibility of saving money on income tax. Members contribute pretax dollars to a Health Savings Account from which they pay approved medical expenses. This account can roll over from year to year, allowing members to create a savings account for retirement if all of the funds are not used to pay medical expenses.
