- Assurant: PlanBuilder USA offers several insurance options through Assurant Health. There are choices of deductibles, including no deductible. Coinsurance choices are 50%, 80%, and 100%. Each plan offers an out of pocket maximum, or the most money a member will have to spend each year after deductibles and copays have been met. Prescription drug copays start at $10. You can choose to pay a deductible for prescription drugs to lower your monthly premium.
- Humana: PlanBuilder USA provides insurance through Humana.
- HSA: PlanBuilder USA has a variety of HSA programs from which to choose. HSA insurance programs include a special savings account from which approved medical expenses are paid. Members contribute pre-tax dollars to this account and may therefore save money on their taxes. This account can accrue interest and can be rolled over into the next year.
- Value Select: Available through the United Service Association for Health Care, Value Select combines traditional insurance with discounts to minimize members’ out of pocket expenses. This plan offers the following:
- Hospital indemnity, intensive care, surgical, emergency room visits, and disability coverage
- Prescription drug coverage( $15 copay for covered generic drugs; up to a 30% discount on brand name drugs)
- Dental benefits (savings up to 50% on many procedures)
- One free eye exam yearly and discounts on lenses, frames, and laser surgery
